A água distorce e filtra a luz, alterando o registro da cor. Wavelength se refere a esse comportamento e ao mergulho: em profundidade, as cores desaparecem; na superfície, ainda se mantêm. A imagem registra essa variação.

Produced while submerged, the image stems from a condition of overexposure in analog film. Water distorts and filters light, altering the way color is recorded. Wavelength refers to this behavior and to diving: at depth, colors disappear; at the surface, they remain. The image registers this variation.
