O título da obra se refere tanto à noção de conteúdo/continente (daquilo que se contém) quanto à noção de capítulos em botânica. Os girassóis são uma das espécies de flor que possui inflorescências, existindo outras categorias de inflorescências, ou seja, flores que crescem a partir de um receptáculo em forma de capítulo.
    Quando se fragmenta um girassol inteiro: as pétalas estão em uma espécie de subordinação ao capítulo. Embora todas as pétalas pertençam, linha a linha, a um capítulo específico, cada girassol tem suas particularidades e todas as pétalas pertencentes a um capítulo floral são utilizadas na montagem da obra, formando diferentes desenhos e mudando a dimensão final da obra.

Sunflowers are a kind of flower that have inflorescences, there are several types of inflorescences, that is, flowers growing from a receptacle in the form of a chapter.

Although the petals all belong, line by line, to a specific chapter, each sunflower has its particularities and all the petals that belong to a floral chapter are used in the assembly of the work, forming different designs and changing the final dimension of the work.
